Saying Goodby

Dad understands that Pat & I will be away for a while. I'm not sure he gets the time line. Last night he gave me many items of advice. Generally he wishes us well and wants us to have a good time. So last night he kept wanting to go to bed early since he knew I was leaving at 5am to get Pat to the airport. I kept him up until 9:30. At 11:30 he woke up and asked me how the trip to Syracuse went. At 1:30 he was up again and glad to see me back. And at 4:30 he got up to take care of his cramps. I haven't put that much energy into preparation for the next two weeks of art fun. I think I will now add to last night's 4 hours of sleep.
