Dad only shows anger to me. I can quess what he may be feeling but only unwelcome words or actions come my way. He does however show more to the females on watch. Sometimes after a reprimand he actually sheds tears. And sometimes laughs.
He spent the afternoon yesterday composing this note to the Gilmores. And he had Meg put out $25 to buy flowers. The note says, "Condolences from the Merrills to the Gilmores. Albert, rest in peace. We had many good times together."
